In fact, monster teeth are so important that we felt they deserved their own episode, just in time for the horror days.

With THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, we saw the explosion of the found footage genre that is still popular to this day, and the Japanese showed us the dangers of sitting too close to the TV with RINGU! If that didn’t change your horror movie game enough, David Fincher gave us the ultimate worst-case mystery box scenario in SEVEN, Wes Craven made horror meta with SCREAM, and M. Night Shyamalan peaked early with THE SIXTH SENSE.

But we’re not even close to this episode’s EVENT HORIZON! We’ll also look at a creepy ice cream vendor (aren’t they all?), a castle freak, some self-improvement cannibals, a Rubik's Cube of death, an evil genie, Chucky’s better half, a Hardrock Cafe for vampires, and so much more! Although these vehicles have been hit and miss, the release of the most recent 2025 film, SUPERMAN, written and directed by JAMES GUNN, sees Superman come full circle back to the tone of his earlier comic book roots.

During his time as the host of CREATURE FEATURES and his 33-year stint as an entertainment writer for the SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE, John Stanley had the dream job of interviewing countless (unless you count them) actors, filmmakers, writers, and other celebrities. Once again, the rules are simple: We each take turns reciting a quote from a horror, science fiction, or fantasy film, and the rest of us must guess the movie in question. But trust us, it can be a lot harder than it sounds. 

Ideally, when we play this game, we do our best to deliver the most dramatic reading our humble acting skills can provide. This can often result in a series of shaky actor impersonations that would make Rich Little cringe. Well, cringe no more Monster Partiers, because in this episode, we have a talent who puts the "impress" in impression.
